Saturday night was one of optimism and entertainment at Stone's Hill Church as Turning Point held its annual Night of Hope fundraiser. An evening of good food, good company and good vibes encompassed great testimonials, great entertainment, and hearts full of hope in support of Turning Point Education Center. The fundraiser, which had special guest speaker, West Noble and Turning Point graduate Abel Zamarippa, also saw the live and silent auctions bring in over $31,000, which eclipsed last year's total by over $2,000. The night concluded with live entertainment from the Mobile Dueling Pianos. Thank you to all who attended and helped coordinate the overwhelmingly successful event!

The final page of the story that was the 2026 West Noble gymnastics season was read on Saturday. Freshman Allie Haro and sophomore Neveah Patrick both competed as individuals at the Huntington Gymnastics Regional to round out the season schedule.
Patrick worked on bars, finishing with a 5.325 while Haro scored 8.05 on vault and 6.975 on floor, none of the scores high enough to qualify for next weekend's IHSAA State Finals.
The appearances from Haro and Patrick were the first by a West Noble gymnast since Heather Jacobs competed on beam in the 2008 regional.
Congrats on the duo for making some history and a great season overall!

The weather has been a topic of conversation lately, and they keep promising it will warm up! Then we have a fog delay today...
That said, West Noble's choir students joined together Wednesday evening at Charger Hall to perform from the series "Weather of All Kinds". The sixth, seventh and eighth grade choirs all did a two-song sampler, followed by the high school for a tune before everyone joined together to close the show with a mashup of 'Over The Rainbow' and 'What a Wonderful World'.
Very fun to see all of the choirs come together in one performance, and bravo once again to choir director Sarah Sponseller for her direction and leadership!

Turning Point is excited to announce another early graduate!
While most seniors are still counting down the days, this student, who would not like to be publicly named, finished his final credits ahead of schedule!
We are proud of our senior for locking in and putting for the extra effort to cross the finish line in March, rather than May!

Columbia City showed why it's been regarded as one of the top outfits in Class 3-A.
The Eagles ran out to a 17-4 lead and never looked back in a 75-33 win over West Noble Tuesday night in the opening game of the Columbia City Boys Basketball Sectional.
The loss was the end of the road for the Chargers (5-18), which bids adieu to six seniors: Nolan Kelly, Trey Shisler, Trevor Steele, Brayden Ritchie, Blake Jones and Mason Taylor. Kelly finished the game with a team-high 17 points.
Columbia City moves on to face Fairfield in Friday's first semi-final. Wawasee knocked out Tippecanoe Valley in Tuesday's second game, setting up a showdown with NorthWood in Friday's second semi-final.

West Noble's gymnastics season has been extended by one week!
With a new ruling in place to include the top three athletes per event not on an advancing team, West Noble didn't advance as a team, but saw two of its athletes make the regional round of the state tournament after the chalk dust settled at the Angola Gymnastics Sectional earlier today.
Allie Haro qualified for the regional on both vault and floor by placing within the top nine overall spots, and teammate Neveah Patrick also advances from her bars routine.
West Noble finished eighth in the team standings, but will fight on another week when Haro and Patrick compete next Saturday at the Huntington Gymnastics Regional. Congrats to them both, and to Karyme Barrientos and Hadassah Campos for their season of work as well.

The IHSAA Boys Basketball sectional draw ink is still drying, and West Noble already knows when and who it will play.
The Chargers drew No. 5 Columbia City in game one Tuesday night (March 3) at the IHSAA Class 3-A Sectional No. 20 Columbia City Sectional. The game is slated to begin at 6 p.m., with the winner having to take on No. 8 Fairfield in Friday's first semi-final.
Wawasee and Tippecanoe Valley play in Tuesday's second game, with NorthWood awaiting that winner in Friday's second semi-final. The championship game is Saturday, March 7, at 7 p.m., all at Columbia City.

Today is a Flex Day for the West Noble School Corp. Kids are working on eLearning assignments while staff members have been involved in team meetings, online tutorials and an informal learning session with Carrie Hoffman from Parkview Health regarding the new Shared Clinic for West Noble Schools. Specifically for the clinic, this is a new benefit for West Noble staff and their families to help with medical needs. Hoffman answered questions ranging from the clinic benefits, how it relates to insurance, what types of services can be rendered, and fielded direct questions from employees.
The kids aren't on campus today, but it was still a busy day with our staff and we continue to learn and grow!
