The West Noble girls tennis team saw its tournament season end, but Natalia Riegsecker is still alive in the individual tournament. The freshman No. 1 for the Lady Chargers won her match , 6-3, 6-1, to advance as an individual for the state ladder that begins next week. Lakewood Park Christian knocked West Noble out of the state team tournament, 3-2, Friday evening. Riegsecker and Ava DeLong won matches on the singles courts to pace the Lady Chargers. Good luck to Natalia as she looks for individual glory in the state tourney!

Jaylun Shaffer had a night to remember at the Angola Boys Track Sectional. Shaffer won both the 100 and 200 dashes (11.30 and 22.78), while also assisting on the 4x100 relay championship (43.81), joining Dustin Richardson, Xavier Yates and Fernando Macias. Richardson was the high jump champion at 6-4, and joined Shaffer, Anthony Castillo and Brayden Knepper in the third-place 4x400 relay. All of these events qualify for the Goshen Regional next Thursday. Congrats to all of our Chargers!

The final week of school is already exciting, and now it's going to get better! Next Tuesday, Turning Point's coffee trailer will be set up on the West Noble High School campus to serve drinks to students and staff! After a pair of successful stops in the Ligonier community in recent weeks, the coffee trailer will now be brought to campus for the Chargers to enjoy! Turning Point Coffee Company is the crown jewel of Turning Point's outreach mission, not just providing a premier coffee experience, but also giving back to individuals and organizations in need.

West Noble will continue its girls track postseason after the rain settled at the Angola Girls Track Sectional Wednesday night. Kayle Jordan advanced in both throw events, winning shot put (37-7) and taking third in discus, and Silvia Venturi added another field event qualifier with a third in pole vault. Stefany Dominguez was second in the 100 dash, Gimena Aguilar was third in the 200, and both joined Elyse Mead and Andrea Campos to finish third in the 4x100 relay. Trinity Parson added a third in the 3200 run to qualify for next Tuesday's Warsaw Girls Track Regional. Congrats Lady Chargers!

History was made at West Noble Wednesday evening. It wasn't quite the backdrop of Notre Dame Stadium under a sunny September sky, but Charger Field and West Noble Unified Track and Field hosted its first-ever Unified meet, welcoming in Wawasee for the historic dual. Wawasee would win four of the five events to secure a 98-81 win, but as the rain began the drive sideways as the final 4x100 relay runners came home, it was a site to see as West Noble has now hosted a Unified sporting event. Top times for West Noble included Dominic Miller in the 100 dash (15.99) and in long jump (8-7), Riley Barth in the 400 dash (1:34.07), Lilyen Lindsay in the shot put (19-7.5), and the Charger 4x100 relay won with a time of 1:11.88.

West Noble School Corporation is very proud to formally introduce our new K-12 website! The site, still located at westnoble.k12.in.us, is revamped and simplified to make your West Noble experience better! You can find virtually everything here, from school calendars and staff listings (with pictures!) to social media feeds and organic news from our campuses. You'll also be able to find all of the school board materials in one place, information from each of our departments, lunch menus for each building, links to athletics for the high school and middle school, club offerings, and much, much more. Take a minute to look around at all the great things we have going at our West Noble schools, and bookmark the page so you don't miss anything!

Having absolutely no idea of what to expect, and really, nothing to lose, Xavier Viera traveled to Orlando, Florida, earlier this month to take part in the BPA Nationals. A very quiet kid nearly made a lot of noise in his series' of competitions. Find out how he did, and the confidence it brought to our WNHS senior here: https://www.westnoble.k12.in.us/article/2221724

West Noble High School had a quintet of students honored in a unique way earlier this week. Wednesday afternoon, five of our high school students were honored with a signing ceremony at Impact. The ceremony was held to recognize each student's aspirations to continue their education in a post-secondary institution or go directly into the workforce in their area of study. Among the more than a dozen students in all that were honored, West Noble would like to congratulate five of our own: Halle Barrientos, Jacob Carbaugh, Tabitha Soria, Nicholas Stoops and Carlos Velez, Jr.

As we noted earlier in the day with the video, West Noble's FFA hosted Ag Day. Our Little Chargers from West Noble Primary were on hand for an up-close-and-personal experience with farm animals, equipment, and how farming fits into our daily lives. From the looks on the kid's faces, we think they had a great time both teaching and learning today!

Tonight is West Noble's Prom! The kids likely are all headed to Kendallville if not there already. A host of couples made a stop at West Noble High School this afternoon to take part in the Grand March to open Prom activities. Have a great night tonight, and be safe wherever you are! We have a Google Drive open with pics from the Grand March for those who would like a photo of your favorite couple or person. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zmbV5flnIrjQqxV6C0vfWGIBLE0FuG4B?usp=drive_link
