We told you there would be food at the Volley For Venturi night coming up on Sept. 22.
BEHOLD!
If those two meal options aren't enough to get you in the door to support a good cause and see some top flight volleyball in the process, at least buy a shirt and find another way to get involved.
Food starts at 5, volleyball starts at 6, our support for the Venturi's doesn't end!

Competition season opened this past weekend for the Lightning Brigade marching band from West Noble, taking part in the annual Goshen Crimson Invitational.
The Brigade were part of the Festival Class, a two-school group joined by Fort Wayne Dwenger. The class was not publicly scored; this being West Noble's first competition of the fall.
In all, 24 schools competed at the Invite in six categories: Festival, Scholastic, and Class A, B, C & D.
The Lightning Brigade competes again this weekend at the DeKalb Invite.
Special thanks to Leia Noll for the pics from Goshen!

We had a great weekend of athletics at West Noble, but we also had a great week of activities going on around our campuses as well. Our primary mission is to give our students the tools to learn and grow, and here are a few examples of how they are doing that. Highlighting these moments will be a regular occurrence on our social channels, so be on the lookout for these galleries all year long!
Among the images are Family Time at both Turning Point and West Noble Elementary, outdoor classes and scenery in Charger Woods, the recycling event at Turning Point, and elementary kids having fun at recess.

Piggybacking the momentum from a great Friday night of football, cross country opened its competition season with entry in the Elkhart Christian Academy Invite and volleyball hosted its 11th annual West Noble Charger Invite.
The girls cross team sent out eight of its best runners and came away with a team title, the four pairs from the relay-style Hokum Karem format topped a good groups of local programs, while the boys showed well among some of the area's top outfits.
Volleyball was oh, so close in its pursuit of a title, tying for first in its pool play, but lost on a tiebreaker and settled for third on the podium.
Great weekend of Charger athletics, and we're just getting started! Go Chargers!

Great start to the season. Chargers scored 35 points in the first half en route to a 35-8 win over backyard rival Central Noble. West Noble will open its home calendar next week hosting Wawasee, which upset Jimtown, 10-9, earlier this evening.

It was a hot opening weekend for the high school sports schedule at large, where football opened up with a scrimmage Friday night hosting South Bend Riley, then the volleyball and soccer calendars opened, all hosting matchups at home on Saturday.
Both the girls and boys varsity soccer programs fell to Fort Wayne Blackhawk via shutouts, while the JV boys soccer rallied for a 3-3 tie against Blackhawk. Volleyball saw its C team and JV lose in two to East Noble before the varsity swept the Knights to close a long evening of athletics in Ligonier.

Not wasting much time, Turning Point was already out serving in the community. Today, both the morning and afternoon sessions were in Charger Woods working on the YMCA learning area on the southern end of the trail system. Building a net, refinishing a couple of wooden structures, cleaning up seating areas and working out some of the overgrowth from the summer were all on the checklists this morning.
The preschoolers will be in school in a couple weeks and will be frequently utilizing their wooded area as part of West Noble's aim to be learning outside the classroom approach.
