Some of the best and brightest were honored Wednesday at West Noble High School as part of the Fall Awards Ceremony.
Four academic categories were highlighted among the ceremony, the math department issued Math Awards noting four angles of leadership and engagement, the junior class had four elected among the Rising Stars, the Principal Awards selected students in all four grades in forms of character, resilience and excellence, and the Northeast Corner Conference All-Academic selections were also recognized.
Athletically, dozens of individuals from the KPC All-Area teams from the fall sports season were spotlighted, as was senior Destiny Martinez, who will compete as the first girl in school history to wrestle in the IHSAA Girls Wrestling State Finals.
