Principal's Message

Welcome back students!

This will be a year of change for West Noble High School, and we’re very excited. The biggest change is the move from trimesters to semesters. Students will now have midterms at 9-weeks and final grades in December, giving us extra time for each class. You’ll notice, rather than homeroom we have one “enrichment” period per week. Enrichment is on Wednesdays, and each Wednesday is a modified schedule. Also this year, we have a new rule that backpacks/bags are not allowed in the classroom. This is a safety best practice but also will give us more room in the classroom. Students will be assigned lockers to store their things. Our student handbook has been updated with all the information students will need. Please take a few moments to read over this, look at our daily schedules, and get familiar with school procedures. Our Back to School night is open to all grade levels with a special scavenger hunt and parent meeting for freshmen. Any student who wishes to come in to try their locker combination or walk their schedule can come in at this time or during the week while the office is open. Dates and times are listed below. A guidance newsletter with dates and information is also attached here. Please read this carefully for important building information of all kinds.

Change can sometimes be difficult for us all, but the changes this year are going to make this one of the best years yet. We look forward to seeing upperclassmen again and meeting freshmen for the first time! Go Chargers!

Athletes

All parents will need to register athletes online at Final Forms.  There will be no paper registrations for this school year. Every athlete grades 9-12 must use this to register for each sport they wish to participate.

By registering for a sport now, it does not mean you are on the team or that you must play.  This just lets us know the potential of participation. Full instructions for registering athletes are available at westnoble.net under “Charger News.”
